Earn Money and Lose Weight
Do you want to earn money and lose weight?
Or even build muscle and make money?
I am sure you do, At least the make money part 😀
Before I got any further I want to ask you! A quick question, If you want to change your body and get healthier why haven’t you already?
Have a think about it… Really thank why haven’t I
I bet it’s because of one of the following:
1) No Time
2) I don’t know what to do or how to do it
3) I can’t afford a Gym membership or personal trainer
4) I lack motivation
5) I tried before and it didn’t work so I quit.
All of these are valid! excuse,
And I have used a few of them If not all of them at one point in my life and I am a qualified Personal Trainor so what chance have you got? lol
What if I could eliminate all of the excuses for you Right now With this blog post, Would you want to get the body you want and the income you want?
I will go this systematically eliminating every excuse one by one!
1) No time – what If you could get the body you want, Only doing 7-minute workout 3 times per week?
I know this might sound like a gimmick or trick, but you can really do an effective resistance training workout In only 7 min
(So why do Personal Training give me an hour-long workout)
Hint: They get paid by the hour
If you want to lose weight, too busy can’t be an excuse anymore, If you are too busy to lose weight, then you must be too busy to eat. RIGHT?
Eat less = lose weight
The easiest way to lose weight is just to eat fewer calories, The fastest way to lose weight is to combine this with resistance training.
NOW If you still say you don’t have 7 minutes, You have to have a look at your life, everyone should have 7 minutes,
Get up 7 minutes earlier, spend 7 minutes less time watching TV, On of social media like Facebook.
Time is no longer an excuse if you want to find some good 7-minute workout tailored to you check this out and create a free account with the potential to earn money and lose weight at the same time.
2) I don’t know what to do or how to do it
This is A good one, You can’t do something if you don’t know how.
The good thing is there is a load of information out there that tells you how to get the body you want, The bad news Is there is so much conflicting information out there that is you listened to it all you could only drink water for the rest of your life.
The truth is there is more than one way to reach your goal, If someone else did it and it worked for them it can work for you if you can do exactly what they did
3) Can’t afford a gym or PT
You can still get a good fast, efficient workout done from home for pennies
Either use your own body weight, which is FREE or buy some cheap resistance band and you can get it done fast without any travel time too Bonus!!!
(I do most of my workout at home)
4) Lake motivation
Motivation is one of those things that comes and goes, As a personal trainer I am really good at motivating other people, But when it comes to motivating myself sometimes I just can’t be bothered.
So How do you and I overcome this?
First Don’t use motivation as a way of pushing yourself to do something, this will only last so long and then your willpower will fade and you will feel demotivated or burnt out.
This is a Hugh topic that I could go on about for ages but I won’t I will try to keep it short, I will do a full post on motivation soon.
Instead, you have to define your WHY
Why do you want this? what is so important in your life, that makes you want to achieve this?
It could be
I want to be around longer to see my kids/Grandkids growing up
I want to look good at the beach this summer
I need more energy
My body Make me sad and depressed. I need to change NOW
The more you want you’re why. The harder you will fight for it.
Now that you have your why you have to change your self-image.
Your self-image plays a huge role in determining your actions, think of your self-image as a boiler thermostat
If you set the thermostat to 65 and the temperature is lower than 65 The temperature will send a signal to the boiler and tell it to turn on.
The boiler will fire up and heat the house until the house temperature reaches 65 then the thermostat will tell the boiler to turn off.
Once the temperature falls to about 64 or 63 the thermostat will tell the boiler to turn back on again.
The thermostat will keep doing this until the program is changed. Its job is to keep your house at the desired temperature.
Your self-image work just like the thermostat
If you are overweight and you have a self-image of yourself being overweight, you will never change
You have settled so you will lack the drive and motivation required to change
YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR SELF IMAGE
If you want to be 140 pounds You much constantly tell yourself you are 140 pounds even if you are not, In fact, you have to write it down and read it to yourself twice a day or more.
It may sound Dumb but over time, this will re-train your subconscious mind to think you are 140 pounds
If your subconscious mind thinks I am 140 pound but the scales say 200 pounds.
(This will tell your internal thermostat that something is wrong)
and this will cause you to make better decisions to achieve your goal weight.
By doing these 2 things this will pull you towards your goal and keep you motivated because the sheer desire to reach your goal will now out weight the excuses
TIP: If you need a little extra motivation, watch some motivational videos on YouTube, transformation videos, Whatever videos get you motivated enough to get up off your Ass and get something done.
5) I tried before and it did not work or I regained the weight
Good news this one is short because it relates to no 4 in a way, Provided you were given a good plan to follow
Some of you may have lost the weight only to gain it all back a short period of time.
Some of the reasons for this are:
1)You were ON a diet – If you are on a diet you have to get off it at some point you can’t stay on a diet forever. (stop your diet= weight gain)
2)You did not change your self-image – you still saw yourself as being 200 pounds, so you just ate, and ate until your body reflected your self-image. your internal thermostat made you eat that cake so you get back to 200lbs
3)You lost some muscle – Muscle is active tissue, meaning the more muscle you have the more calories you burn, so once your diet stops and you eat more, you have less muscle tissue to burn the calories so it stores as fat.
That is why you put the weight on faster when you stop a diet. Unless you were doing heavy resistance training during your diet and you built or maintained muscle mass.
